About the Company

PHOTO: Me in my angel costume

Web Angel Designs began in July, 2000. I started this business because I enjoy designing web sites and I felt there was a need to help smaller businesses have quality web sites at an affordable price. In viewing web sites, I have seen that while many people may know HTML and how to create a web page, their message usually becomes lost in poor design and usability. I am here to help.

For Martin County, I won the 1999 Award of Excellence from the 3CMA Organization. Two of the key reasons for winning the award were ease of use and good navigation.

The Web Angel name came about from my last job in Florida. For five years I had been Martin County's Web Goddess. On my last day working there, I decided to leave a lasting impression and dressed as an angel (see photo). While before the County Commissioners during their official meeting, I was "promoted" as the Web Angel. Honest to God! It's part of their official records for January 18, 2000 (around 1:30 pm ET).
